T9600 Platform

The T9600 is our top-of-the-line home treadmill frame. It incorporates our largest deck and boasts our extra-heavy gauge steel tubing for heavier and taller users. It also has a 3.0 hp Cambridge Motor Works™ motor with matching 3.0 hp digital drive system to assure smooth, consistent power, even at lower speeds. For added comfort, this treadmill comes with an extra-thick 4.4 mm orthopedic cushioned running belt.

Our larger treadmills feature extra-heavy gauge steel welded frames. This extra-heavy frame construction creates a solid and stable walking/running platform. The heavier frame also insures that the cushioning is provided through the deck and elastomers and not through the frame structure.

The display features a large LED for easy viewing, while the smaller LED gives you your heart rate feedback from the contact heart rate bar. The Deluxe console is for the user who wants programming but not necessarily every top-of-the-line feature. It has 18 diverse programs, which include SPRINT 8, three HRT, three Goal, and five Custom programs. The blue backlit LCD and three upper LED windows give extra data at a glance, and the graphic display lets you know where you are in your workout.

It even keeps track of your workout totals by allowing up to six users to personalize and save their data in a training calendar. The full-color LCD display with its interactive ATM-style keys easily guides and engages you through each workout with easy-to-read instructions, various background scenes, and more. AV ports allow you to plug in a DVD player.

I run races and did my research and wanted to get a Landice but my budget deemed that I get a treadmill that would perform similar but at a lower price. I think this 9600 deluxe is a heck of a buy. The specs are so close to a Landice L-7 and this machine is a top-notch performer. The ortho belt is super comfortable! Superb value! I love it.

I have to say that after comparing this to many other treadmills at much higher prices I have been happy with my purchase. I am happy to say that I do not regret spending more $$$ on a fancier treadmill. I am 6'3" and weigh 215lbs. I wanted a longer running surface of at least 60". Before I bought this treadmill I ran on a LifeFitness treadmill at the club and that treadmill had a really big running surface. I felt comfortable with the running belt area on the Vision Fitness 9600. My only complaint is that I would have bought the Premier console as I liked the features but I felt that it was a little bit out of my price range. I wish that the Premier console was less expensive as I would have been happy to buy that one. I bought the Deluxe console and it does what I need. Overall the Vision Fitness 9600 treadmill is a good buy. I gave it 4 stars.
