Vegas Trade Show: Lifespan TR1200-DT Treadmill Desk

Lifespan TR1200 Treadmill Desk

This is the fourth in a five-part series on the recently held Las Vegas Fitness Trade Show. Today, the Lifespan TR1200-DT Treadmill Desk is featured.

In this fast-paced world many people just simply can’t find the time to exercise, or they work out some but wish they could do it more.
Many of us are stuck sitting at a desk, often in front of a computer, when we’d love to be exercising.
Well, you can now do both – work on the computer and exercise – thanks to the many fast-growing lines of treadmill desks on the market.
One of the best treadmill desks on the market is the Lifespan TR1200-DT Treadmill Desk (MSRP $1,999 / At Home Fitness Sale Price $1,299).
There are some cheaper treadmill desks out there, but this one is sturdy, stable and easy to use.
It’s actually comfortable to walk and also operate the mouse and keyboard at the same time. Some people may think it looks odd at first to see someone in a home or growing number of workplaces that use treadmill desks, but talk to the people using them about how much better they feel.
It’s important to note that the Lifespan TR1200-DT Treadmill Desk is designed to walk, but not run on.
If you start breaking into a jog or run then it’s going to be pretty hard to focus on the computer anyway.
The Lifespan TR1200-DT Treadmill Desk is big and sturdy enough (2.25 HP motor, rated for use by people weighing up to 350 pounds) to walk upright at a comfortable pace while working on the computer. It includes a sturdy work surface measuring 46.5″ wide and 31″ deep to easily support your laptop, printer, computer display and other electronics devices. The treadmill is also quiet and has an easy to use control panel, which keeps track of time, distance, speed and calories burned.
The best way for someone to decide if a treadmill desk is for them is to stop into a specialty store such as At Home Fitness and try one out.
