It takes discipline and daily attention to eating the right things to attain the health and physique you desire.
Here are five healthy eating tips to get you headed in the right direction:

* Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. It is important to stay hydrated – beverages such as tea, coffee and fruit juice can count toward your water intake. Add a slice of lemon to make your water more enjoyable to drink. Avoid soft drinks.
* Keep a food diary for a few days. This is an excellent way to see what you are really eating and drinking. It will allow you evaluate what you’re doing right and wrong.
* Start each day with a good breakfast. Studies show people who eat breakfast will consume less calories throughout the day.
