Five tips to getting a great workout in 30 minutes or less

When it comes to our busy lifestyles, many people put off exercising because they simply don’t have the time. Or so they think.
Did you know there are lots of great benefits a person can get from exercising just 30 minutes per day?
Here are five tips to getting a great 30-minute workout:
1 BOOK IT – You make time to schedule appointments for lots of other things in your life, ranging from the dentist, to haircuts, to events for your kids, to lunch with friends.
Isn’t your own personal fitness worth some time, too? Make it a priority to mark in at least 3-5 slots on the calendar a week for 30-minute workouts.
2 BE FLEXIBLE – If your plans blow up and you miss a morning workout, try to improvise and maybe get a long jog or walk in on your lunch break or after dinner. Fit fitness in when you can.
3 BE CREATIVE – If you normally work out at a gym, but can’t make it there think of things you can do at home to exercise. That’s why it’s great to have a treadmill or elliptical machine at your home for added convenience. Or you can go for a jog around the block or do a pushup-situp circuit.
4 FIND A WORKOUT BUDDY – If you can find someone to exercise with it can make the time go by much quicker, make it more fun and help you stay motivated.
5 STAY COMMITTED – Even if you miss a couple of days, don’t give up. Exercising for 30 minutes a day, 4-5 times a week can make a major difference in your health. If you get sidetracked get back to exercising as soon as possible so that a few missed days doesn’t turn into a few months.
