20 Oct LifeTrend Alta 2-in-1 Hot and Cold Plunge & Pro 6 Infrared Saunas Now Available at At Home Fitness
Recovery Equipment Has Arrived in Our Showrooms
If you’ve been following the wellness world, you’ve probably noticed cold plunge tubs and saunas everywhere. Professional athletes swear by them. Fitness influencers post their ice bath routines daily. And the research on recovery benefits keeps growing. What used to be reserved for elite training facilities is now available for your home, and you can see it all at At Home Fitness.
We’ve added cold plunge tubs and infrared saunas to our Arizona showrooms because our customers kept asking for them. When that many people want something, we listen. And like everything else we carry, we’ve done the homework to bring you quality options you can actually test before buying.
LifeTrend Alta 2-in-1 Hot and Cold Plunge
The LifeTrend Alta isn’t just a cold plunge. It’s a versatile 2-in-1 system that can cool water down to 37°F for cold therapy or heat it up to 102°F for warm water relaxation. This flexibility means you get both recovery modalities in a single unit, perfect for contrast therapy or adapting to your needs on any given day.
The Alta measures 77″ L x 31.5″ W x 30″ H and holds 61 gallons of water. At 293 lbs. dry weight with a galvanized steel frame, this unit is built to last. It runs on standard 110V/60Hz household power, so no special electrical work is required for installation.
What sets the Alta apart is the attention to water quality and user experience. The Balboa Chiller maintains precise temperatures while the Gecko Circulation Pump keeps water moving for optimal filtration. A built-in UV Ozonator and 50 sq ft filtration system ensures clean, safe water without constant chemical maintenance. Full polyfoam shell insulation and a 2.4″ thick high-insulation cover retain your set temperature efficiently.
The Alta also includes built-in Bluetooth speakers so you can listen to music or guided breathing exercises during your session, underwater mood lighting for ambiance, and a textured step-in basin with included step for safe entry and exit. Color options include Snow White shell with either Snow White or Black interior.
Pro 6 Infrared Saunas
We’ve partnered with Pro 6 to bring their line of Near Zero EMF FAR Infrared Saunas to our showrooms. These aren’t the steam saunas you might remember from the gym. Infrared saunas heat your body directly rather than heating the air around you, which many users find more comfortable and easier to breathe in. The near zero EMF design addresses concern about electromagnetic field exposure during extended sessions.
All Pro 6 models feature natural hemlock wood construction, clasp-together assembly for easier installation, built-in FM radio with Bluetooth and MP3 connectivity, interior and exterior LED control panels, bronze privacy tempered glass doors, and interior chromotherapy lighting with red light therapy options. They run on standard household electrical service, making them practical for most Arizona homes.

Amanda: 2 Person Sauna
The Amanda offers more interior room for two people to use comfortably. Exterior dimensions are 47″ W x 43″ D x 77″ H with the same 5.7″ roof overhang. Interior space is 43″ W x 39″ D x 70″ H. It includes 6 carbon heating panels and weighs 325 lbs. Also runs on 120V/15amp standard service.
Melanie: 3 Person Sauna
The Melanie accommodates three users with exterior dimensions of 63″ W x 44″ D x 77″ H. Interior space measures 59″ W x 39″ D x 69″ H. It features 8 carbon heating panels for even heat distribution across the larger space. At 415 lbs., it’s more substantial and requires 120V/20amp service.
Rebecca: 3 Person Corner Sauna
The Rebecca is designed for corner placement, making efficient use of room layouts. Exterior dimensions are 57″ W x 56″ D x 77″ H with interior space of 52″ W x 52″ D x 71″ H. With 9 carbon heating panels, it provides thorough coverage throughout the corner design. It weighs 425 lbs. and requires 120V/20amp service.
Why People Use Infrared Saunas
Infrared sauna users report a wide range of wellness benefits. Because the FAR infrared heat penetrates deeply into joints, muscles, and tissues rather than just warming the air, many people find relief from muscle pain and joint stiffness after regular sessions. The deep heat increases blood circulation and oxygen flow throughout the body, which supports natural recovery processes.
Beyond muscle and joint benefits, infrared sauna sessions are commonly used for detoxification, stress reduction, and relaxation. The sweating that occurs during a session helps remove impurities, while the warmth and quiet environment provide a break from daily stress and fatigue. Some users also report improvements in skin appearance and overall energy levels with consistent use.
While individual results vary, the growing popularity of infrared saunas reflects how many people have incorporated them into their wellness routines for weight management support, immune system benefits, and general relaxation. Our team can answer your questions about how infrared sauna use might fit into your health and fitness goals.
The Hot and Cold Combination
Many of our customers are interested in contrast therapy, alternating between hot and cold exposure. This practice has roots in Nordic bathing culture and is now backed by modern research showing enhanced recovery, improved circulation, and potential immune benefits.
Having both a sauna and a cold plunge at home lets you create your own recovery protocol. Heat in the sauna opens blood vessels and relaxes muscles. The cold plunge constricts blood vessels and reduces inflammation. The cycle between the two creates a pumping effect that may help flush metabolic waste and deliver nutrients to tired muscles.
If you’re considering both, visiting our showroom makes even more sense. We can help you think through placement, electrical requirements, and how the two units might work together in your available space.
Why Buy Recovery Equipment Locally
Cold plunge tubs and saunas are significant purchases and buying them online comes with real risks. These aren’t items you can easily return if they don’t meet expectations. Shipping damage happens. Assembly can be complicated. And if something goes wrong six months from now, good luck getting support from an online-only seller.
When you buy from At Home Fitness, you’re getting the same service we’ve provided Arizona families for over 20 years. We offer local delivery and assembly, so your equipment arrives ready to use. If you have questions or issues down the road, you know exactly where to find us. That peace of mind matters when you’re investing in equipment you plan to use for years.
Plus, you get to try before you buy. See how a cold plunge tub is constructed. Understand the actual dimensions in person, not just on a spec sheet. Ask our team the questions that matter to you. That’s the frustration-free experience we’ve built our reputation on.
